He swore up and down that he did'nt, and Bill Phillips (an admitted steroid user) took his word for it, and threw out the results of the polygraph for him and I think one/two other contestents. Just like fighters dehydrate themselves of 10-20# of water the day b4 a fight to make wgt, just to put it back on in 24hrs that could explain alot too.Īaaaaaannnnnnddd, per the polygraph in the BFL video #1 w/ Bill Phillips, Anthony was accused of taking steroids. Therefore, I believe a combination of muscle memory, new muscle, and what "concept"(above poster) says about carb, fat, water, making up the difference could probably have happened.Īlso someone mentioned he could have starved himself to achieve a smaller appearence in the b4 pic. Having said that, when he realized more kals= more muscle he probably put that 10-15# bk on in a couple weeks, and then put on more bodywgt. And when he was wgt training he probably was 10-15# heavier, but quit out of frustration for not getting past a plateau. So if you look at his b4 pic, he probably hadn't wgt trained in a while. Right on, He claims he lifted for a long time and could never get big.
